Abstract

This paper analyzes the feminist articles by Emilia Pardo Bazán in the Barcelona
magazine La Ilustration Artística, one of the publications in which she collaborated for the longest
period of time(1895-1916). There she published some of her most combative feminist articles on
women’s rights, work, gender violence and the development of the feminist movement, among
other questions about the discriminatory customs of her time.
