Abstract

A Dominican newspaper of 1923 erroneously attributed to Emilia Pardo Bazán
the short story “Go with the Devil!”, published by Calleja. This false attribution speaks of the
dissemination of her works in the Dominican Republic, where a total of 16 texts of her authorship
have been found so far in newspapers and journals published between 1891 and 1924
